About the Role

Customer Success Advocates are on the front lines working with our customers every single day to ensure that they are achieving success with our product. In this role, you’ll help our customers achieve their goals with their websites over the phone, via online chat and email, while delivering top-notch service and being a positive advocate for our brand. As a CSG, you are involved in all aspects of customer success and have a direct impact on our customers and their emerging websites. You’ll be responsible for collecting valuable user feedback to improve Nuvosite’s products and play a vital part in moving the company forward. Bonus points if you 1. have experience working in a technical environment and have worked in customer solutions in the past 2. You have some phone sales experience in B2B or B2C.

Don’t worry, you won’t be cold calling anyone, we strive for needs-based sales solution which means we help our customer get the right products to help them succeed.

Example: Let’s say a customer calls in and you notice they’re using an outdated logo that’s fuzzy and looks horrible, you would help them understand the effect their current logo is having on their business and inform them on how much it could help them to update it by using our logo design service.

  • You will:

    • Deliver a great customer experience while effectively solving customer inquiries via phone or email/chat
    • Offer additional products and services that help our customers reach their goals.  (Yes, we mean you’ll be selling products and services they need to be more successful)
    • Use a timely and professional approach to respond to chat and email tickets, as well as phone calls
    • Deliver value to the company through customer conversion, retention, and cross-selling of our products
    • Remain focused in a fast-paced environment, helping as many customers as possible each day
    • Have experience creating/modifying themes or web templates (e.g.: WordPress, Tumblr, Wix, Weebly, etc.)
    • Identify and communicate system issues to our Product Solutions team
    • Achieve set targets across pace, Customer Satisfaction and quality in email and live-chat
    • Become a Nuvosite product expert that helps advise customers what the best solution to their goals are
    • Answer questions and troubleshoot issues related to customers accounts, billing, and products
    • Troubleshoot and guide customers through website setup, including identifying system and site-specific website issues
    • Must be available for a schedule of 40 hours a week, one that spans weekends and holidays as our customers need us; shifts may include early morning or late-night hours
  • It would be great if you had:

    • Strong understanding of internet technology and website creation
    • Previous experience in direct customer or client-facing roles (sales, retail, hospitality, online support, etc.)
    • Strong organizational, analytical, written and verbal communication skills
    • Comfortability with technology in general (you are the person your friends and family call when they need help with their new wireless printer)
    • Excellent time-management skills
    • Website design experience either personal or professional (you need to be able to help customers customize their website and offer constructive feedback on design or improvements that could be made)
    • Basic working knowledge of HTML5 & CSS3
    • Experience with E-commerce and marketing
    • Familiarity with the Nuvosite platform
    • Live chat experience is a huge plus
    • Some sales experience is a huge plus
